If you have ever wanted to take a picture of something that is far away, whether it is a butterfly or a child playing baseball, camera binoculars are for you. This type of binoculars used to only be used by researchers and have been gaining popularity with people who want to keep their memories of fabulous events and fantastic views.

Why Not Just A Digital Camera

There are several reasons why one would want binoculars with a camera rather than just a digital camera by itself.

1) You can enjoy comfort while watching a concert or sporting even much better through a pair of binoculars rather than on your camera. This offers more flexibility and ease.

2) Binoculars often have a longer focal point so you can see things farther away. This makes them more optimum for this kind of photography.

3) It is nice to have only one gadget to carry. You can enjoy binoculars AND having a camera all using the same tool.

Uses for Camera Binoculars

You can take this type of binoculars anywhere. However, our favorite places are: sporting events, safaris, bird watching, and hiking. Outdoor events that need a medium long view are the most practical. Though you can take pictures of stars, stargazing binoculars are much better suited for that. And though you could use these in a theater, the magnification is most likely too much unless you are truly in the back row or you are wanting extreme detail.

So enjoy the freedom of combining the two types of devices. Camera binoculars are fun.
